How many of you vowed to declutter your house and get your sh*t organized on January 1st, only to find yourself too overwhelmed to begin?
Or you had one bad day and a temporary derailment turned into a permanent one?
How many of you have watched that Marie Kondo show on Netflix and say to yourself, “That is NOT a mess. I’ll show you a real mess!” or “Well, if I had someone come and tell me what to do, then sure! I’d have everything under control, too!” ?
I totally understand.
I have been there.
And at times, I am still there.
I think very often we believe the solution to our problems is more space.
We need more room.
And we need more organizing supplies.
We need more bins and more folders and more crates and more shelves and more closets.
We don’t need more room. We don’t need more organizational supplies.
We need less stuff.
There is plenty of evidence that tells us that clutter leads to stress. Stress creates cortisol.
You know what cortisol does?
It makes it really hard for us to lose weight.
So not only does clutter take away from our ability to be present with our families and cost us time and money.
Clutter can make us fat!
Seriously!
We often think more stuff will make our lives better.
When in reality, more stuff makes our lives worse.
The older I get, the more I realize how little I truly need. And it becomes easier for me to see what is really important both for and to me.
Have you seen that saying?
This one?
Parents especially are overwhelmed enough as it is.
Our houses are cluttered, our minds are cluttered, our schedules are cluttered.
EVERYTHING IS CLUTTERED.
There is something that might help you if you either fell off the path or never got on it in the first place.
It’s called the Subtraction Project.
The Subtraction Project is a FREE ten day program developed by my friend Cass McCrory.
In her words,
The Subtraction Project is all about cutting the excess so life adds up. We all have too much stuff. In our homes, on our to-do list, in our brains and we need to let some of it go. If it were easy we’d do it all on our own. It’s not easy. So we do it together. That’s what the Subtraction Project is all about.
For ten days you’ll get emails delivered to your inbox helping you get the decluttering process rolling.
Did I mention it’s totally free?
I am signed up, and I’m looking forward to feeling lighter, more organized, more in control, and less stressed in two weeks.
Who’s gonna join me?
Click here to get on the list. It starts in two days on Monday, January 21st.
I’ll be there!
Will you?

Cass is awesome! She’s down to earth, relatable, and extremely practical. I’ve been on her email subtraction projects for years. And guess what, when you do it, it works lol.
So glad you’re sharing her good work! Thanks Susie!!!
