A couple months ago I was contacted by a first-time children’s book author, asking if I would review his children’s e-book.
I kind of suck at checking my emails, so it took me a while to get back to him.
But once he told me he thought I was hilarious, well, I had to give the book a look.
Flattery will definitely get you everywhere.
So here is my review…
I read the story with Number 5.
Actually, she read it to me, and she really liked it.
She liked the pictures, she liked reading it on the iPad, and she loved the little French bulldog (Olive).
Now, Number 5 is in kindergarten, and she was able to read about half the words in the story independently.
She’s a fairly advanced reader, though so some kindergarteners might need more assistance. (She must take after her mother).
I’d say, depending on your kid, this is a good book for a kindergartener through early second grader to read independently or with a little assistance.
And it’s written using thought clouds which Number 5 thought was fun.
Number 4 also read it to Number 6 and 7. They all loved the doggies.
Maybe your kids will too.
In fact, I have 4 copies of the book to give away.

I love this blog I read it everyday. I actually took on your no yelling challenge and it’s been a while and it’s actually gotten so much easier! Now I can just say something like “stop touching your penis” in a calm voice and they listen instead of screaming it 20 times and wondering why they think it’s so interesting lol.
