If you are participating in Turn off the TV Week, here’s something for you to do tonight:
FORT FRIDAY!!!
Build a fort.
If you can, build it outside, and let your kids eat dinner in there.
Here’s a tip:
Large binder clips are really good for keeping your fort intact.
This one is attached to a chair,
and these two are attached to the deck.
Then you won’t have a kid bugging you every 2 minutes because the blankets and sheets are falling down!
Mine’s been up all day without one malfunction!
Have Fun!

What a great idea! I totally love this. I definitely would have to try this out with my little sisters. They are fraternal 10 year old twins and they are stuck to the TV and their iPads. I also found this other fort idea at this website, check it out http://bit.ly/11NMhLA It’s great for those rainy days.

I LOVE this! What an awesome idea. I can remember building forts all the time when I was little. I used to even have my parents take pictures of my awesomeness–and this was LONG before digital prints or saving photos to a computer! I’m going to take your advice and have my four build a fort outside for dinner ASAP! Thanks!
