Yesterday I’d say I was magna cum laude.

Yesterday nobody stuffed an entire load of laundry in the toilet.

No one broke a glass.

There wasn’t a powder,

or cereal,

or toothpaste,

or concealer,

or white-out,

or tampon,

or bead,

or band-aid,

or paint,

or poop,

or nail polish,

or fireplace ash,

or shampoo,

or conditioner,

or powdered sugar

extravaganza.

When everything was completely quiet,

and I walked into the playroom,

prepared to see mass destruction,

this is what I saw:

Yep.

One of my children reading.

Unprompted.

Just for fun.

Sorry folks.

No epic fails yesterday.

In fact, it’s not even just a pass.

I’m giving myself a

big

fat

a plus

Personally, I think that any day that no one got bloody is an A+ day (at least thats how I grade myself…..)

I on the other hand did have an epic fail. I had child #3 decide that yesterday was a good day to get sick to his stomach in the parking lot of Target. We came home to find out that child #2 had a concert last evening and that child needed clothes to show his heritage in colors. And the child #1decided not to watch the child #3 while I was helping child #2 prepare for his concert and #3 got into a stick of butter and got it all over himself and my computer chair. Needless to say #3 got an unexpected shower, my chair got a wipedown (it is buttery smooth leather now). #1 got yelled at and we made the concert but my nerves were shot
On to another day with 3 boys. It is always an adventure.
