I bought some mason jars a few weeks ago at Walmart.
They come in packs of 12, and they cost $9.99. That’s way cheaper than buying glass pyrex containers.
I’m using them for a bunch of different things.
One is for salads.
I have six salads packed and ready to eat for the week.
First, I put the dressing on the bottom.
Then I layered in different things I like to eat that won’t get soggy in the dressing.
I started with artichoke hearts, tomatoes, walnuts, and craisins.
Then I layered on other stuff like chick peas, green peas, broccoli, chicken. hardboiled eggs, and finally the lettuce on top.
They are in my refrigerator door, just waiting to be eaten.
All I have to do is shake, empty into a bowl, and enjoy!
No reason to eat an unhealthy lunch this week!
